พัฒนาเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศเพื่อการบริหารจัดการในอุตสาหกรรมน้ำมันปาล์ม

Abstract

โครงการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศเพื่อการบริหารจัดการอุตสาหกรรมน้ำมันปาล์ม บ่งชี้ว่าผู้ประกอบการเล็งเห็นถึงประโยชน์การใช้เทคโนโลยีธุรกิจอัจฉริยะ (Business intelligence: BI) เพื่อลดต้นทุน และความเร็วในการบริหารจัดการธุรกิจ การออกแบบรายงานถือว่าเป็นสิ่งสำคัญช่วยธุรกิจดำเนินไปได้อย่างถูกต้องแม่นยำ นอกจากนี้ ยังพบว่าผู้ประกอบการยังขาดความเข้าใจในการใช้เครื่องมือด้านดิจิทัลสนับสนุนในการดำเนินธุรกิจและการจัดเก็บข้อมูลที่ถูกต้องตามหลักการจัดเก็บข้อมูลที่จะช่วยให้การใช้ข้อมูลในองค์กรให้มีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด การนำข้อมูลที่มีคุณภาพมาจัดทำรายงานผ่านเทคโนโลยีธุรกิจอัจฉริยะ พยากรณ์ผลต่าง ๆ ในอนาคตได้ ด้านความพึงพอใจในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม พบว่ามากกว่าร้อยละ 94.44 มีความพึงพอใจในเนื้อหาการให้คำปรึกษาที่เป็นประโยชน์แก่ผู้ประกอบการเป็นอย่างมากต่อทีมวิทยากรในด้านทักษะและความสามารถในการถ่ายทอดความรู้ และความสามารถในการตอบข้อคำถาม (ชัดเจนและตรงประเด็น) คาดการณ์ว่าผลการดำเนินโครงการในครั้งนี้สามารถทำให้เกิดลดต้นทุน เพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการผลิต และเพิ่มยอดขาย โดยรวมทั้ง 6 กิจการมีมูลค่ารวม 1,656,800 บาท ผลลัพธ์จากการจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ ทำให้ช่วยผู้ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมน้ำมันปาล์มที่เข้าร่วมโครงการ สามารถลดต้นทุนทรัพยากรบุคคลในการทำรายงานที่มีปริมาณข้อมูลจำนวนมาก โดยการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ ธุรกิจอัจฉริยะ และยังเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการวางแผนการผลิตอันเนื่องมาจากรูปแบบการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลที่ง่ายขึ้น อย่างไรก็ดียังพบว่าธุรกิจอุตสาหกรรมน้ำมันปาล์มยังขาดการสนับสนุนด้านเทคโนโลยีเพื่อช่วยพัฒนาศักยภาพให้องค์มีความเข็มแข็ง ร่วมถึงการเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันในธุรกิจด้วยกัน ธุรกิจต่างชาติที่เข้ามาแข่งขันในตลาดของไทย จะเห็นได้ว่ามากกว่าร้อยละ 90 ของกิจการที่เข้าให้คำปรึกษาในครั้งนี้ไม่เคยรู้จักเทคโนโลยีธุรกิจอัจฉริยะ อย่างก็ดีหลังจากได้รับองค์ความรู้จากกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ทำให้ผู้ประกอบการมีแนวคิดที่จะนำเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศมาปรับใช้ในองค์กรของตัวเอง According to the project of IT development for Palm Oil industry management, the findings showed that the entrepreneurs realized benefits of adopting Business Intelligence (BI) technology for cost reduction and operation performance. That is, report design was the entrepreneurial key. Also, the findings found that the entrepreneurs were short of insights towards utilizing digital technologies in support of business management and effectively storing business operation information. In this regard, BI was the solution for quality reports and productivity forecast. Upon the project completion, the participated entrepreneurs reported highly satisfied at 94.44% on the staff’s technical knowledge and ability, mentorship skills, and responsiveness to questions and details. In sum, the economics return of the projects resulting from the cost reduction, the productivity, and the increase in sales of the six entrepreneurial portfolios was projected at THB 1,656,800. As a result, participated entrepreneurs was able to process large amount of annual report at minimal cost by utilizing BI tools. In addition, the tools enabled the entrepreneurs to plan effectively due to data analytics tools’ friendliness. Unfortunately, the palm oil industry seemed to technologically lack of support from government and local authorities as 90 percent of the participated entrepreneurs were not aware of business intelligence technology. When compared with foreign players, these shortcomings would have impact towards the industry’s health and competitiveness. Empowered with technical knowledge and skills, the entrepreneurs were inspired to continue adopting and apply the technology onto their business operations after the graduations.
