ผู้ทวนสอบข้อมูลคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ของผลิตภัณฑ์

Abstract

Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO has developed Carbon Footprint of Products Label since 2009 to provide consumers more alternatives in decision making and chances to participate for Greenhouse Gas Management and motivate Thai industries to develop their production process to increase productivity and competitiveness in the world market. To apply Carbon Footprint Result from the beginning phase in production process improvement and reduction of Greenhouse Gas emission, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO has developed a certified label of Product Carbon Footprint or Carbon Reduction Label. That is for those products having lowered energy consumption and carbon emissions during the production process. Carbon Reduction Label is used for the first time in this year 2014. The faculty of Engineering, Thammasat University has a duty to verify products of 3 pioneering entrepreneurs; (1) Thanakorn Vegetable Oil Products Co.,Ltd, (2) Thai Toshiba lighting Co.,Ltd and (3) B.N. Brother Ltd. Partnership. According to the verification result, 8 Products of Thanakorn Vegetable Oil Products Co.,Ltd, the manufacturer of “Kuk” cooking oil brand, are certified by The Carbon Reduction Label that can reduce 4355 tons of Greenhouse Gas Emission. While Thai Toshiba Lighting Co.,Ltd, the manufacturer of “Toshiba” fluorescent tube, received a “Carbon Reduction Label” certificate for 1 product. Lastly, B.N. Brother Ltd. Partnership, the “Bayer” branded paint manufacturer, also obtains the carbon reduction label for 8 products. More details could be seen in http://thaicarbonlabel.tgo.or.th/.

องค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ อบก. ได้ส่งเสริมให้มีการพัฒนาเครื่องหมายรับรองคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ของผลิตภัณฑ์ขึ้น ตั้งแต่ปี 2552 เพื่อเพิ่มทางเลือกให้กับผู้บริโภคในการมีส่วนร่วมในการบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก ตลอดจนส่งเสริมให้ภาคอุตสาหกรรมของไทยมีการดำเนินงานทันต่อกระแสการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสังคมโลกและเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันในตลาดโลก เพื่อต่อยอดการดำเนินงานให้กับผู้ประกอบการในการนำผลการดำเนินงานด้านคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ในระยะแรกไปใช้ปรับปรุงกระบวนการผลิตจนสามารถลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกของผลิตภัณฑ์ลงจากเดิม อบก. จึงได้พัฒนาเครื่องหมายรับรองลดคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ของผลิตภัณฑ์ หรือ “ฉลากลดโลกร้อน” ขึ้น สำหรับให้การรับรองผลิตภัณฑ์ผลิตภัณฑี่ได้พัฒนาปรับปรุงกระบวนการผลิตสินค้าตลอดวัฎจักรชีวิตให้มีการลดการใช้พลังงานและลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกลง โดยได้จัดทำโครงการนำร่องการใช้เครื่องหมายฉลากลดโลกร้อนขึ้นในปี 2557 และได้มอบหมายให้คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ทำหน้าที่ทวนสอบข้อมูลผลิตภัณฑ์ของผู้ประกอบการนำร่อง จำนวน 3 บริษัท ได้แก่ (1) บริษัท ธนากรผลิตภัณฑ์น้ำมันพืช จำกัด (2) บริษัท ไทยโตชิบาไลท์ติ้ง จำกัด (3) และบริษัท บี เอ็น บราเดอร์ จำกัด ผลการทวนสอบข้อมูล พบว่า บริษัท ธนากรผลิตภัณฑ์น้ำมันพืช จำกัด ผู้ผลิตน้ำมันพืชภายใต้เรื่องหมายการค้า “กุ๊ก” มีผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ผ่านการขึ้นทะเบียนฉลากลดโลกร้อน จำนวน 8 ผลิตภัณฑ์ สามารถลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก จำนวน 4,355 ตัน ส่วน บริษัท ไทยโตชิบาไลท์ติ้ง จำกัด ผู้ผลิตหลอดฟลูออเรสเซนต์ เครื่องหมายการค้า “โตชิบา” มีผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ผ่านการขึ้นทะเบียนคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ของผลิตภัณฑ์ จำนวน 1 ผลิตภัณฑ์ สำหรับบริษัท บี.เอ็น.บราเดอร์ จำกัด ผู้ผลิตสีเครื่องหมายการค้า “สีเบเยอร์” มีผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ผ่านการขึ้นทะเบียนคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ของผลิตภัณฑ์ จำนวน 8 ผลิตภัณฑ์ ดูรายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมได้จากเว็บไซต์ฉลากคาร์บอน ของ อบก. http://thaicarbonlabel.tgo.or.th/
