Abstract

โครงการศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนาและส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงกีฬา (Sports Tourism) มีความสำคัญต่อการกำหนดกรอบทิศทางการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวของประเทศไทย เพื่อให้ประเทศไทยมีกรอบและแนวทางการส่งเสริมสำหรับการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวเชิงกีฬาในระยะสั้น ระยะกลาง และระยะยาวที่เหมาะสมกับประเทศไทย รวมทั้งการศึกษาและวิเคราะห์การบริหารจัดการพื้นที่ที่มีการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวเชิงกีฬาต้นแบบในประเทศไทย มีฐานข้อมูลด้านการท่องเที่ยวเชิงกีฬาของประเทศไทยที่มีส่วนสำคัญต่อการขับเคลื่อนการดำเนินงานด้านการท่องเที่ยวในประเด็นการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวเชิงกีฬา (Sports Tourism) โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อส่งเสริม สนับสนุนแนวทางความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และอื่นๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง Developing and Promoting Sports Tourism Project is significant to determine the sports tourism development’s framework in order to issue appropriately short-term, medium-term, and long-term frameworks. This project also includes the study of sports tourism destination’s roles model to analyze best practices in management of their sports tourism destinations. This project also provides database of Thailand sports tourism that is also vital to drive the implementation of sports tourism development. The aim of this project is to encourage and promote the collaboration between government sectors, private sectors and other related organizations in sports tourism.
