การศึกษาการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการขนส่งและกระจายผลิตภัณฑ์ โดยพัฒนาขั้นตอนวิธี และแบบจำลองทางคณิตศาสตร์สำหรับการจัดเที่ยวรถ (Vehicle Routing Problem Algorithm)

Abstract

ปัจจุบันการบริหารจัดการขนส่งและโซ่อุปทาน จัดเป็นเรื่องที่มีผลกระทบต่อวงการอุตสาหกรรมระดับประเทศทั้งทางด้านอุตสาหกรรมภาคการผลิตและอุตสาหกรรมภาคการบริการรัฐบาล ซึ่งการขนส่งจัดเป็นต้นทุนที่สำคัญตัวหนึ่งสำหรับอุตสาหกรรมในปัจจุบัน โดยหลักการสำคัญของการขนส่งคือการส่งที่ถูกสถานที่ด้วยเวลาที่เหมาะสม เพื่อตอบสนองความพึงพอใจของลูกค้ามากที่สุด เนื่องจากสภาพการแข่งขันที่สูงและความสลับซับซ้อนในภาคธุรกิจ ทำให้รูปแบบในการขนส่งสินค้ามีความหลากหลายและมีข้อจำกัดด้านการขนส่ง เช่น ต้องจัดส่งสินค้าให้ลูกค้าหลายแห่ง มีข้อจำกัด ด้านเวลา เนื่องจากความต้องการของลูกค้าขนาดรถขนส่งที่หลากหลายขนาด อีกทั้งการว่าจ้างรถขนส่งของเอกชนมาร่วมขนส่งสินค้าด้วย ทำให้เกิดความซับซ้อนในการขนส่งด้วยข้อจำกัดด้านต่าง ๆ บริษัท ไทยเบฟเวอเรจ จำกัด (มหาชน) ต้องการหาเส้นทางขนส่งและกระจายสินค้าจากโรงงานผลิตไปยังคลังสินค้าและลูกค้า เพื่อให้มีค่าใช้จ่ายต่ำที่สุด โดยที่ไม่ผิดเงื่อนไข ปัญหานี้จัดอยู่ในปัญหาการจัดเส้นทางการขนส่ง ทางทีมงานที่ปรึกษาสำนักงานศูนย์วิจัยและให้คำปรึกษาแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ได้ให้คำแนะนำในการแก้ปัญหาโดยการสรุปขอบเขตของของปัญหา พัฒนาขั้นตอนวิธีและแบบจำลองทางคณิตศาสตร์ในการจัดเที่ยวรถรวมรวมข้อมูลที่จำเป็นในกระบวนการวางแผนทั้งหมด ออกแบบขั้นตอน วิธีการแก้ปัญหา พัฒนาขั้นตอนวิธีในการแก้ไขปัญหาการขนส่งและร่วมนำเอาขั้นตอนวิธีที่พัฒนาขึ้นไปใช้จริง ในช่วงของการทดสอบ พบว่า วิธีเมตาฮิวริสติกที่พัฒนาขั้นได้ทำให้คุณภาพของคำตอบดีขึ้น วิธีดังกล่าวอยู่ระหว่างการนำไปทดลองใช้ซึ่งจะช่วยลดค่าใช้จ่ายให้กับบริษัท ไทยเบฟเวอเรจ ต่อไป

Nowadays, transportation and supply chain management are important issues that has significant impact in national scale in manufacturing industry and service industry. The reason is that transportation is one of the major costs for business. The objective of transportation management is to deliver the right products at the right amount at the right time in order to satisfy customer’s expectations. Due to the competitiveness and complexity of today’s business, there are many types of transportation and each type has many constraints. For example, there are constraints on multiple drops, time-window of delivery, customer’s acceptable truck size, multiple truck sizes and outsourcing third party logistics company. All these make transportation planning is a very complicate problem Thai Beverage Company limited would like to determine transportation plan to distribute goods from factories to warehouses and customers to minimize total costs without violating any constraints. This problem is classified as vehicle routing problem. Thammasat University Research and Consultancy Institute’s team had provided consultancy to solve this problem. Thammasat’s team has done the following tasks: 1) Scope down the problem’s definition, 2) Formulate vehicle routing problem, 3) Help collect necessary data, 4) Design heuristics to solve the problem, 5) Help develop heuristic and 6) Help pilot the solution to business use. During the testing phase, the developed heuristic has shown improvements. Currently, this solution is in the process of having planning team to test and use it. After going live, this solution should help reduce costs for Thai Beverage Company limited and save planning time for company’s employees.
