Abstract

The current condition of well-being and common happiness of Thais has been taken into account by The Office of National Economic and Social Development Board. Measuring tool was conducted consisting of two types of key indicators (KPI), i.e. index of well-being and common happiness , and index of significant influential factors. Both of the KPIs are divided into two categories, the first is index for measuring and comparing the well-being conditions of the entire country, and the second one is specific index for measuring only the area having the same characteristics, either urban or rural area. The entire index have been developed to be composite index using for further assessment.
