จัดทำรายงานอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ (MICE Industry Reports)

Abstract

การศึกษาวิจัยโครงการจัดทำรายงานอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ (MICE Industry Reports) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์ศักยภาพ และแนวโน้มการเติบโตของอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมายของประเทศไทย ประกอบด้วย อุตสาหกรรมหุ่นยนต์เพื่ออุตสาหกรรม (Robotics) อุตสาหกรรมการแพทย์ครบวงจร (Medical Hub) และอุตสาหกรรมการบินและโลจิสติกส์ (Aviation and Logistics) โดยศึกษาภาพรวมและทิศทางการเติบโต ตลอดจนการแข่งขันของอุตสาหกรรมในระดับนานาชาติ รวมทั้งวิเคราะห์จุดเชื่อมโยงที่อุตสาหกรรมไมซ์สามารถเข้าไปสนับสนุนขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมายทั้ง 3 อุตสาหกรรม ทั้งนี้ เพื่อนำผลการศึกษาเผยแพร่ข้อมูลให้แก่หน่วยงานกับอุตสากรรมเป้าหมายและอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ อุตสาหกรรมไมซ์เป็นที่มีมูลค่าเพิ่มสูง และถือเป็นอุตสาหกรรมบริการเป้าหมายตามแผนพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติฉบับที่ 12 ประเทศไทยเป็นเป้าหมายการเดินทางที่สำคัญของนักเดินทางกลุ่มไมซ์ เนื่องจากมีความพร้อมด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและมีแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่หลากหลาย ค่าใช้จ่ายการท่องเที่ยวที่ไม่แพง อุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมายทั้ง 3 สาขาถือเป็นอุตสาหกรรมที่มีโอกาสเติบโตอย่างสูงในประเทศไทย เนื่องจากรัฐบาลมีนโยบายส่งเสริมการลงทุนโดยให้แรงจูงใจทั้งที่เป็นภาษีและมิใช่ภาษี กรณีอุตสาหกรรมหุ่นยนต์เป็นอุตสาหกรรมที่มีอุปสงค์ในประเทศสูง ส่วนอุตสาหกรรมการแพทย์ครบวงจรเป็นอุตสาหกรรมที่ไทยมีความได้เปรียบจากวัตถุดิบพืชสมุนไพรที่หลากหลาย สำหรับอุตสาหกรรมการบินและโลจิสติกส์เป็นอุตสาหกรรมบริการที่ประเทศไทยมีความได้เปรียบจากตำแหน่งที่ตั้งของประเทศที่เป็นศูนย์กลางของอาเซียนตอนบน การเติบโตอย่างมีศักยภาพของอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมายเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการจัดกิจกรรมไมซ์ทั้งกิจกรรมสัมมนานานาชาติ และการจัดงานแสดงสินค้า เพื่อดึงดูดผู้จัดนิทรรศการ และผู้ซื้อในแต่ละอุตสาหกรรมเข้าร่วมงาน อย่างไรก็ตาม ในการพัฒนาการจัดงานไมซ์ให้ประผลสำเร็จมากยิ่งขึ้น ประเทศไทยต้องพัฒนาการประสานความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และภาควิชาการ รวมทั้งต้องขยายการจัดงานไมซ์ออกไปในพื้นที่ต่างจังหวัดซึ่งเป็นเมืองอุตสาหกรรมแห่งไมซ์ให้มากขึ้น อาทิ การจัดงานในพื้นที่ระเบียงเศรษฐกิจ จัดงานในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ รวมทั้งต้องเร่งพัฒนาบุคลากรไมซ์ให้มีศักยภาพสูงขึ้นและต้องเร่งประชาสัมพันธ์ให้หน่วยงานภาครัฐตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์มากขึ้น

The MICE Industry Reports aim for analyzing the potential and predictable trend of the targeted industries: Robotics, Medical Hub, and Aviation and Logistics of Thailand. The Reports provide the overview of the targeted industry, anticipated growth and competition at international level. Furthermore, the analysis of the link between MICE industry and three targeted industry that drives their growth also provided in the Reports. Ultimately, these Reports could provide information and strategies for the targeted industries and MICE industry. MICE is the high-valued service industry according to the 12th National Economic and Social Development Plan. Thailand is the main destination for MICE travelers because of its well-developed infrastructure, variety of attractions and reasonable cost of living. Three targeted industries hold high potential for growth in Thailand since Thai government has launched attractive investment promotion in form of both tax exemption and non-tax incentives. The domestic demand of Robotics in Thailand is relatively high, while Thailand has huge advantage in Medical Hub due to the biodiversity and variety of herbs. For the Aviation and Logistics, Thailand gains strategic advantage because of its location in the middle of Upper ASEAN region. Potential growth of the targeted industry creates opportunities for MICE activities such as international conferences, exhibitions attracting exhibitors, buyers and visitors from the targeted industries. In achieving the goal, the cooperation among public, private sectors and academia is needed. MICE activities shall be held outside the capital city, in particular in the provinces around economic corridor such as Chiangmai. The manpower in the MICE industry shall be trained to reach the international standard, while the significance of MICE industry shall be disseminated to the public sectors.
